Exciting New Changes

So, we've been away from the blog for a while, and as you can see we're back with a new layout and a lot of new changes! Because lists are so coveted by human beings, we're going to run down the new changes in list format.

1. ET.gov has a new look and feel! We have been working hard on redesigning the ET.gov website and it will be unveiled on 28 February 2011.

2. The Emerging Technologies Subcommittee will be assisting the Federal CIO and OMB in various cloud computing projects. ET.gov will have a new section where you can read about the latest develops in cloud computing and emerging cloud technologies.

3. March 29 is our next Emerging Technologies Workshop. We are working hard to bring you the best speakers in the industry and the tentative theme is "Information Sharing and Security in Cloud Computing"

4. We are doing membership recruitment for the Emerging Technologies Subcommittee. If you're a federal employee or a contractor in support of a federal project with a .gov, .mil, or other government email and are interested in helping bring emerging technologies to the focus of the federal government, send etsubcommittee@gmail.com a message! We love new people and new ideas!

Keep checking back as we post more information on the upcoming workshop and changes in ET.gov.
